Ah, the unmatched beauty of a pristine and quiet lake. There's nothing quite like it! Whether you're visiting a cold mountain lake in winter or a peaceful woodland lake in the middle of spring, there's some bit of natural loveliness in it for everyone. Unless, of course, you're not here to have a good time...
Go forth, toplevel, and tag around! You can, of course, wildcard anything into existence, but if you're feeling low on inspiration, feel free to roll one of the following prompts.

1. BOATING. Whether this is a large sightseeing boat or a small, romantic rowboat for two is totally up to you and your thread partner. Are you here to admire the beautiful forest overlooking the water? ...Or did you drop your wedding ring in the lake?
2. FISHING. Women want you. Fish fear you. Or do women fear you, and fish want you? Either way, you can sit around and talk to someone for that long, long stretch of time before you haul up a monster carp your dad would be proud of.
3. WAKEBOARDING. Or windsurfing, or jet skiing, or kiteboarding, or whatever... Don't worry, this lake is big enough for extreme sports and action-hero shenanigans!
4. SUNBATHING. Look, some of us do not have the energy for jet skiing. Just lay out by the lake and take a nap.
5. CAPSIZING. So, the kayak you were in just flipped over and you're soaking wet now. Time to turn it back over and try again, clumsy! But wait — eep! What just touched your leg in the water?!
6. BERRY-PICKING. You were about to reach for another sweet, delicious-looking berry when... someone else just grabbed the one you were going for. Is this going to end in a beautiful new friendship, or just jam and tears?
7. BIRDWATCHING. Look at those peaceful sparrows flying by overhead! Oh no, did you feed that horrible goose? You're not supposed to feed the goose. Maybe you can run before it's too late...
8. TREASURE HUNTING. Someone just walked by with a metal detector — or maybe you're the person with the metal detector? You might find something good, you know! If you're willing to profit off whoever lost their wedding ring in prompt 1, anyway...
9. NESSIE...? Legend has it that a mysterious creature lurks within the lake's depths. Maybe you're out to find it... unless your character is that mysterious creature?
